We've been talking for weeks with Sutton about how when he is a "bigger boy" he will have to give his nuk-nuks (aka. pacifiers) to the little babies who need them... Today he woke up and said, "Sutton give nuk-nuks to babies" SO WE DID!... Sutton and I went around the house and collected all of his nuks... It was so cute, you would have thought he was on an Easter Egg hunt... And of course, Shaeffer wanted to help too... We then talked about who we thought could get the nuks to the babies the best. I of course suggested the famous "nuk-nuk fairy" but Sutton had an idea of his own. He said, "Mommy, give nuk-nuks to mailman for babies," so that is what we did. We brought the nuks out to the mailbox and gave them to the mailman. We talked about how the mailman would get them to the babies and how Sutton would not get them back. The boys and I then took a special trip to see the choo-choo train. When we returned, the mailman had taken Sutton's nuks and delivered him a special note and lollipops... HE WAS SO EXCITED to get the mail and see his special gift. Nap time was a little hard, he really missed his sleep aid, but bed time was much better. We're hoping it gets a little easier each day! Yeah for Sutton! He is growing up so fast!
